MARK PIETRI studied Concert Piano at the prestigious Hartt School of Music. It was during his undergraduate years that he grew interested in Improvised Music and subsequently studied with jazz greats Jackie McLean, Paul Jeffrey and Jaki Byard-all alumni of the world renowned Charles Mingus bands. Mark has performed in various jazz settings throughout New York, Los Angeles, San Diego and now the Central Coast. In 2012, he served as Music Director for the Melodrama in Oceano, and for a variety of SLO Little Theatre productions.
